    Alias
Tonight was the season premiere. At first I thought it sucked because there was soo much going on at once. But it was really awesome. I can't wait to see the rest of the season :P I wish it was a two hour premiere though.. leaving the season the way it was.. it would have been the least the creators could do. But it was good, I'm satisfied. I loved the way she told Vaughn off.. he deserved it. Alright. I'm done. Damn, now I can't wait til next Sunday. I'm such a nerd.

Sorry for not updating.. I'm still in a fit of laughter over the CA governor debate.

Florida, congratulations, you are no longer the country's biggest embarrassment.

    polygamy
I thought this was rather interesting:

    The Issue
A small religious group is lobbying the government to allow them to take multiple wives.

    The Debate
"It's about time we had our religious rights recognized," says Brenda Washington, a devout member of a faith that is never made quite clear. "Who is the government to tell me I can't love more than one woman? The government doesn't know how much of me there is to go around!"
    [Accept]

"This is nothing more than sexual deviants using religion as a pretext for perversion!" says Reverend Fleur Dodinas. "Marriage is one man, one woman, and death do we part. What's so hard to get? Anything else is a perversion, and must be banned."
    [Accept]

"Multiple wives? Excellent!" says passer-by Miranda Spirit. "Presumably we will allow multiple husbands, as well. And gay marriages, of course. In fact, now is probably the time for the government to butt out of marriage altogether. Let people marry their cats, if they want."
    [Accept]

I was most intrigued by the first argument. Who the hell has the right to tell Brenda she can't love more than one woman?! Certainly not the government. Brenda, you just spread your love around. Don't let me tell you what to do. Seriously. I'm only here to take your money.

It gave me a much needed laugh while I searched for the 'dismiss' button, anyway.

    on my toes..
I've seen about nine police cars in the past two days. And this bothers me because I usually drive about 10-15 miles over the speed limit. Now, don't get me wrong.. I only go that fast on the interstates and such.. heh.. you can pick your jaw up off the floor now..

Anyway, these nine police cars are like omens. Foresights, if you will. Things like this have happened to me before.. once, I was coming home from school and I pictured a red car sitting in our driveway. And when I turned the bend, I saw a red van parked in my driveway. Creepy, eh? The day before spring break, I thought to myself how much it would suck to go without my car. About fifteen minutes later, a guy ran into the back of me.. I went without my car the whole week. So, I've been driving 70 mph on I60 for the past two days. I must say.. I feel like I'm crawling along.. it sucks. But I've never been pulled over and I'm not about to lose my record. :P

OH! You know what would be awesome? Okay, authority figures like to hide behind bushes and things to catch speeders, right? So, okay I know not all interstates are like this but 60 is, people that see a car hiding behind a bush that the people on the opposite side of the road can't see, should flash their lights. Like, okay, there is this big bush right at the end of one of the bridges, and I always have to slow down before the end of the bridge. This wouldn't be a problem except it pisses off the people behind me, because they don't know what I'm doing when I lay on the brakes in the fast lane. And it's not like I can move over to the other lane.. so, if the people going the opposite direction see a policeman, they should flash theirs lights so those on the other side know if they should slow down. Dammit. I need to write a book.

    shut your trap
You know what? I do mind. I mind you sitting there talking and laughing. I mind you annoying the hell out of me. I mind you acting like a frikking dumbass making unnecessary noises. You know why I mind? Because it's a library. A l-i-b-r-a-r-y. Say it with me. For God's Sake. I don't care if you don't know what an almanac is, or how to use one. The rest of the library users don't give a shit either.

"Like, oh my god! I have to use an almanac? I don't know what that is! WTF!!"

People, I put up with this every day. These people should not have been admitted to Penn State. They're too stupid.

"Oh my god, I can't go five days without seeing Billy!! That's soo long!! What were you thinking!?! WTF!!"

You know what makes this worse? I was completing a survey of the library atmosphere when these freaks popped in. So I guess the noise level rating went from a perfect five.. all the way down to a two. The only reason I didn't choose one was because, well, I really don't know. I should have chose one.

Where the hell were the librarians during this ruckus? Who the hell knows. They're always there when it's quiet. Are they afraid of the noise? Are they deaf? Do intuitively-challeged minds frighten them?

"Oh my god!! Where did you find that almanac? Show me how to use it! What's an index? WTF!!"

Yes, folks, they really did ask each other these questions. Don't know what an index is? Uhmm. Besides asking each other the same questions every three minutes, they apparently hadn't developed the proper motor skills to hold a book. Granted, it was a big book. An almanac.. phew. Yet, they were sitting at a table.. so why did they have to keep picking it up.. and then dropping it again on the table? Was it the big, loud noise the book made?

This happened five times in 30 minutes:
    *drops book on table*
    *giggles ensue*
    "Oh my god!! Oops! WTF!!"

Alright. Needless to say, I got little work done. Interestingly enough, I was working on the same thing as they were. It took me about five minutes to go through the two required almanacs for the necessary information. It took them an hour to find the almanac's index. Seriously. Wtf!!

By the way, I know ZonkBoard isn't working. Oh well. :P

    well..
I made the executive decision to get my hair cut. It was just too long for me too handle.. and I'm just too lazy to handle it. So I got about 1.5 inches off and some layers.. not that you guys care.. I'm just at a loss for what to write. Anyway.. I'll be able to wear my hair down now.. and no more headaches from the little clip things.. !

I'm going to attempt to read The Stranger again.. I got it the first time.. but I figured if I read it again it might make more sense. Besides.. my english professor said he'd be impressed if I passed the test on it.. and me being the suck-up that I am.. I'm going to read it again for my research project. Alright.. I'm done.

Oh.. I just wanted to say how sorry I am that the great John Ritter passed away. Also, Anna Lindh.. they were both great people and it's hard to find those in today's world.

I will rewrite what I was trying to say at a later date. I'm having a hard time putting it into words.. so give me time to write my little rant on paper.

I swear.. I have enough little notebooks and rants to publish a book.. I bet that's what will happen when I die. :)
My family will go through my things and find all my thought-provoking writings.. grammar errors and all.

    That's right thought-provoking

    okie
I changed to village photos.. even though the quality sucks. Oh well. At least it's working now.

I'm really tired today.. I guess I just enjoyed the weekend a little too much.. this school thing sucks. I went to the mall with Mattie yesterday.. it was quite an adventure. There were these girls standing in the windows of Deb's (I think) pretending to be mannaquins. I don't know if I spelled that right ut I'm too tired to give a shit right now :P. Anyway, I don't know if they were just being stupid, or if they worked there.. I think they were enjoying, too. Oh well, it made me feel better about myself.

Happy Gilmore is on TBS right now.. I noticed that every Adam Sandler movie has more/less the same plot. It's always 'Immature guy learns how to be responsible and gets the girl'. I guess Waterboy is an exception.. but you can't deny there is a pattern :)

    sorry
It seems the background picture and other picture aren't working.. they haven't been working for a few days.. I don't know what the problem is. DomainDLX isn't down or anything.. and the archive pictures are working fine.. I'm completely baffled. I would use VillagePhotos but they suck.. so deal with the picture problem for now :P

    In other news..
I cleaned my room today! Ya. It was pretty bad. I lost the paper that had my PSU account password on it.. so that sort of sparked the cleaning. I found the paper though.. it was stuck inside my Super Mario Sunshine cheat guide :P Yes. I have a cheat guide. I didn't use it to beat the game though, I bought it after I finished the game. I needed it to find the hidden shine sprites. I have, like, 87 of them so far.. I don't know if I'll ever get all of them. The one in the sewer pipe thing is so hard..

    whoohoo!
I got 85% on my grammar quiz! I'm so proud of myself, I haven't had a grammar lesson since about 7th grade.. Yay me! I got the infinitive verb and present participle questions right, too. Most of the ones I missed were due to my stupidity.. I misread the questions. But it's alright, I'm proud of my grade.. And it's Friday! Which makes this all the more better. I can breathe a sigh of relief..

    oh so sore
I had philosophy today.. the teacher is a real bitch. She spent the whole time telling us how hard she is going to make the class, and how she's not 'taking shit' from anyone. Wow, first impressions are key.. she needs to work on hers. Math, ya, had that too.. enough said. I had to take a grammar test yesterday.. I didn't know any of the terms.. like a 'present participle' or 'infinitive verb'.. I had to guess. As I speak, I don't think to myself, "Oh! I just used an infinitive verb!" No, that makes English, or any language, completely boring. I think I did fairly well, though..

    so long sweet summer
Well, first day of college today, I must say I was not impressed. However I do see my Psychology class as a potential problem. It's full of those rich, snobby people.. ya, who know the type I mean.. they drive to school in their beamers and chat on their cell while they dipose of any pedestrian traffic. Those people. *tsk tsk* Maybe change majors? I don't know if that would be worth it. Anyway, I only had three classes today, Spanish is going to be fun, the teacher reminds me of Mr. Macky from Southpark, except it's a woman. The woman version of Mr. Mackey. She says "Mmkay" every five seconds. Literally.. I think she times herself. Anyway, English is going to be great, I love English. The teacher is odd.. he reminds me of someone I can't put my finger on.. He says "Hello" is a nasally voice about as often as the Spanish teacher says "Mmkay". It's a little unnerving, though, when you find numerous spelling and grammatical errors on an English syllabus. It should be a fun semester. I don't have Philosophy or the dreaded math class until Thursday though. I had to buy six fucking books for that Philosophy class so it better be worth it.

Oh ya, my car decided to have problems as soon as school starts. It seems the shifter doesn't want to shift. I can't put it in first gear because it pops right back out, second through fifth are just hard to get into and keeping it from popping. I don't know what it is.. I just bought the clutch last year.. *sigh* I spent all my money on books.. I'm so stressed. Fourteen dollars worth of gas.. in a little car.. what is this world coming to?

    lol oh geez
    Democrat
Threat rating: High. The Bush administration is
concerned that it may not get a second term.
Therefore, we are going to change the rules so
that each Democrat vote only counts as 0.2
votes because Democrat is a shorter word than
    Republican

What threat to the Bush administration are you?
